Eytan Seidman, formerly of Microsoft, co-founded Oyster.com to add value to and compete in the hotels space online. In less than 4 years, they have gone from obscurity to rocking the longtail of searches and they frequently appear on the first page for head terms as well. They are tenacious about linkbuilding and providing value to their users, which is how they have come to get links from Lifehacker and others, 3.8 million links from 2,115 root domains. In 4 years. WOW.
