  1. Hi John,

Thanks for checking out Crowdbooster! We’re glad you found the time recommendations helpful. Just wanted to mention that you can actually schedule tweets right from the Crowdbooster dashboard – give it a shot!

  2. Hi David -

Thanks for stopping by and for your comment! Crowdbooster is quite useful for me for my job, and your feature of scheduling updates may be of great use as well.

I’d still like the ability to schedule to schedule updates from the Tweeteck iPad app (are you listening, Tweetdeck?). That lack and the ugly graphics the difficulty of searching for an adding new followers are the two things keeping me from switching to Tweetdeck on my iPad too.

    Cheers, David!

  3. nice post

I just got this error after scheduling like 30 tweets, then all of a sudden BAM…ERROR.

I even tweeted tweetdeck saying WTF??

    But thanks for the solution

    • Thanks for the comment! It is indeed an annoying issue, and fortunately it is an easy fix…though I am sorry that your 30 scheduled tweets got lost!

Thanks for visiting the site. I’m glad you found it useful!

  4. Thanks! Very helpful.

  5. Just what I needed. Now I can schedule it directly on TweetDeck isntead of going to SocialOomph to do it. :)

    • Yeah man, it’s all about the single product that provides it all. I love the Tweetdeck desktop app. Not so crazy about the iPad app…

      Thanks for the comment!

  6. thanks for your comment. to be honest, i still find it annoying since i’ve been scheduling for several accounts for several months…and today, all of a sudden “you’re not yadda yadda yadaa” and the solution is what i thought it would be. fortunately easy, still annoying though ;)

    • Wow, that is annoying! Well, I am glad you figured it out and thanks for your comment.

  7. thanks for the advice. it worked.

  8. Had to re-add my account info twice, save it all, log out. You were right; it was annoying. But the fix was easy.

    Thank you for the solution.

    Carol

  9. Worked like a charm. Thank you!

  10. I do love Tweetdeck, not tried any others as of yet and so far it seems to be the best one for fun and analysing/tracking and realtime fast!

    • I still can’t get tweetdeck to schedule tweets WTF – will take a look at Crowdbooster

Glad to know I’m not alone..Thanks for the post

  11. Unfortunately, this fix didn’t work for me. I have five accounts I have to manage (and HootSuite is not the tool for me)… Although I guess TweetDeck isn’t the tool for me anymore either. It’s too bad, I was a big cheerleader until scheduling went down for three days. Really stinks.

  12. Six months later but so glad I have resurfaced from my PhD studies for this helpful tip! Thanks so much, this was really helpful and thanks for the tip on Crowdbooster..I love technology…gush!

  13. I have a similar problem, but this did not solve it. For about a month or so, I can schedule tweets just fine [for facebook and twitter] but they just stay there in the “scheduled updates” column and never go out at their appointed time.

I have done what you suggested in this post, but to no avail.

I am using Tweetdeck Desktop v0.38.1 on MacOS 10.6.8 and 10.7.

  14. Thanks for the advice, but I’m afraid my problem is a bit different. Would you happen to know how to solve this one?

“Schedule error: There was a problem scheduling at least one update.”

I’ve been scheduling updates for twitter for the past 2 days and love it! Don’t know where this error message is coming from though…

  15. Thanks John! Something so simple always works. Thanks for the Crowdbooster recommendation too. Looking forward to using it.

  16. Nope, this didn’t help me. I have been using TweetDeck for a long time now and suddenly, I can’t schedule Tweets anymore. I even went so far as to completely uninstall both TD and Air, rebooted my computer (following the Support Directions). I still can’t schedule. However, all it’s saying is “Scheduling Error:” there is no explanation after it. Probably not the same issue you had. Did what you suggested here and still nothing. Very frustrated.

    • Stasmi –

Sorry this didn’t help you. My issue was when I was first using Tweetdeck I was not able to schedule updates, so I followed the steps I outlined and got it to work.

I’ve been hearing that these steps aren’t helping everyone, so I’ll try to update them. Thanks for letting me know.

  17. Does anyone know how you can share your scheduled list between Tweetdeck users? We have various people working on social media for a business, and we are all using TweetDeck for the same Twitter account, yet we can’t see each other’s scheduled tweets. Any ideas?

  18. I tried the suggested solution, but it did not work for me. I think something is messed up in my registry. Thanks for solution that worked for you. It was worth a try.

  19. I tried the recommended steps but with no success. If you have updates on what can be done, that would be greatly appreciated. Messages to TweetDeck never elicits any response.

  20. This didn’t work for me – as of today and uising the last Mac OSX version on Adobe Air – before they moved to the Chrome/Apple App versions. I don’t like how they work, so never upgraded. Now I’m looking for a replacement to TD. Sorry Richard and the team over at TweetDeck. Since you made this change – it’s killed TD for me.

  21. :`( I tried your solution but it did not work. I deleted my twitter (default) account from tweetdeck, shut down tweetdeck, brought it back up, added my account again, and then tried a schedule update. Nothing.
Do I need to do something else?
    Thank you! Very much appreciated.

  22. Hi John,
Thanks for your post. It worked a treat. I was getting really upset with TweetDeck that it kept on showing an error. I thought it was a bug that would go away but luckily came across your post and did the steps you suggest.
@typertist did you log off TweetDeck and log back in rather than just close it?

  23. Just tried it. Wondering how long it’ll take to be ‘varifired’ but considering moving all my tweets scheduled for today to tomo. NOT IDEAL…

  24. I know it’s such a long time after the post was published and that my problem is a little different, but I can’t find help anywhere. I’m not able to schedule anything, I click the small clock there and anything happens, no calendar shows, nothing. Anyone could help me?
    Thanks.
