I have lived in Europe for 2 out of the last 5 years in a community in Switzerland called Swiss L’Abri.

I like to call myself a competitive webmaster. John Andrews used that keyword phrase first, but I think it’s really quite good too.
I found your site through Distilled, I think. Actually, I liked your site so much, I threw mine into “under construction” mode so I can bring it up to par! haha!
